Coos County Jail Roster Records
The primary online path for current Coos County inmate records begins with the county's Alpha Roster page, which points users to the live JusticeConnect Coos County Jail roster. The roster is branded for Coos County Jail and is linked from the Coos County Sheriff's Office. Research found no login screen or payment gate for the live roster. The county's roster notice also gives the Booking Division phone line, 541-396-7850, for questions that the online grid does not answer.
The roster is for local jail custody. It covers adults in custody booked into the Coos County Jail after arrest, local sentence, probation or parole sanction, or another jail status reflected in the charge table. It is not the right tool for every person with a Coos County case. A person sentenced to Oregon Department of Corrections custody should be checked through Oregon Offender Search. A federal sentenced person belongs in the BOP locator. Immigration custody requires ICE ODLS, and release or transfer notification can be handled through VISOR.
The JusticeConnect roster screenshot shows the public grid, search control, status filter, image column, booking date, and scheduled-release field used for current Coos County inmate records.
The image is useful because it shows that Coos County roster records are grid-based first, then row-based. Selecting a row opens more detail than the first screen displays.
Use the Coos County Roster
The live roster uses a JusticeConnect/CMI grid. It supports a keyword search box, a View dropdown, sortable columns, grid filters, page-size controls, a pager, a refresh control, and row selection. No official wildcard rule or minimum character count was published in the captured roster source, so a practical search begins with a last name, then broadens or narrows from there.
- Open the county Alpha Roster page when an official county doorway or system-change notice is needed.
- Follow the live roster link to the JusticeConnect Coos County Jail roster.
- Enter a name or other visible record text in the Search field. Clear the field if the filter becomes too narrow.
- Use the View dropdown to switch from All Inmates to a more specific custody or charge-status group.
- Review the visible grid columns for image, inmate name, age, sex, booked date, and scheduled release.
- Select a row to open the Inmate Details window with identity, booking, facility, and charge data.
- If the name is missing, call the jail or move to VISOR, Oregon Offender Search, BOP, ICE, court search, or a sheriff records request.
Search results can fail for ordinary reasons. A person may have been cited and released, booked under a different name, transferred, released before the next check, committed to ODOC, held by a federal agency, or listed in court records before appearing in a jail roster view.
Coos County Roster Search Fields
Coos County inmate records are filtered through controls built into the roster grid. The View dropdown is especially important because it separates all inmates from more specific local categories, including pre-sentence, sentenced, probation-violation, dismissed, cited, not-filed, and time-served records. The spellings below follow the roster source where unusual status text appeared.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Options / Format Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search | Text input | Optional | Keyword filter with placeholder "Search"; clearing the field removes filters. |
| Search button | Icon button | n/a | Magnifying-glass control runs the roster search. |
| View | Dropdown | Optional | All Inmates; PreSentance; Fel PV; Sent Fel; Misd PV; Pre Sentence Fel; Pre Sentence Misd; Sent Misd PV; Sent Msd; Sent Fel PV; Time Served; Not Filed; Dismissed; Citted. |
| Column sort links | Grid headers | Optional | Inmate Name sorts by default; Age, Sex, Booked, and Scheduled Release are sortable. |
| Grid filter icon | Kendo filter | Optional | Present for hidden fields such as Jail Booking Key, Booking Number, File Number, and Charge Status. |
| Page-size selector | Dropdown | Optional | 15, 25, 50, 100, 150, or 200 items per page. |
| Row selection | Grid row click | Optional | Single-row selection opens the Inmate Details window. |
Coos County Inmate Profile Fields
The public grid gives a short roster view. The detail window adds the record fields most readers need when confirming identity, checking status, or matching a jail booking to a court case. These are still booking records, not the final court record. A docket field or bail amount on a roster charge should be checked against Oregon Judicial Department court records when a formal case has opened.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Image | Booking or roster image when ImageURL is populated; the grid template displays a 96 by 128 image. |
| Name, DOB, Age, Sex | Identity and demographic fields shown in the detail template. |
| Hair, Eyes, Height, Weight | Physical-description fields used to help confirm identity. |
| Booked | Booking date, with the detail template using yyyy-MM-dd format. |
| Days Served / Total | Time-served and total-days values when present in the record. |
| Release Date | Scheduled release date or "Unknown" if none appears. |
| Facility | Facility or housing-facility text in the roster model. |
| Charge Information | Offense number, offense description, status, arrested by, docket, and bail amount. |
Several model fields are hidden from the first grid but still help the system work. Those include JailBookingKey, BookingNumber, FileNumber, ChargeStatus, IncidentNumber, TotalDays, and image retrieval keyed to the inmate file number. A hidden model field should not be treated as a public narrative fact unless it appears in the detail window or in a records response.
Coos County Jail Contact
The main jail is the practical contact point for current custody and roster questions. Sheriff Gabe Fabrizio is listed in county jail release/list materials, and the jail is operated by the Coos County Sheriff's Office. Use the jail contact for booking-status questions and the sheriff records webform for copies of reports or historical booking material.

For a record copy, use the Sheriff's Office Records Request Webform. The form includes Booking/Jail Records Reports, police reports, photo requests, CAD reports, and other record categories. Coos County warns requesters to be specific, because broad requests can require research, retrieval, review, redaction, printing, and added fees. For in-person routing, the sheriff's administrative office is listed at 250 N. Baxter, Coquille, OR 97423, with weekday business hours and a midday closure; call ahead before using the records counter for a jail-record request.
Coos County Booking Records
A Coos County jail record begins after arrest by the sheriff's office, a city police department, Oregon State Police, or another law-enforcement agency. The intake path may include arrival, custody transfer, identity check, property inventory, search, medical or mental-health screening, fingerprints, booking photo, entry of arresting agency and charges, release review, classification, and housing or release. The county does not publish an exact booking-time average, so the safest wording is current live roster, not an update promise by the minute.
The jail's Daily Court List is a useful bridge between booking and the court case. It can show cell, name, matter codes, case numbers, judge, and time for same-day jail court matters. It is not a permanent court docket. For formal charges, later filings, amendments, dismissals, or judgments, use Oregon court records. For custody and current jail status, use the roster and the Booking Division phone line.
Custody flow: Arrest in Coos County to jail booking to roster entry to first appearance or release; if a longer sentence follows, Oregon DOC custody is searched outside the county roster.
Coos County Inmate Lookup Channels
Every custody tool has a boundary. Coos County's roster answers the local jail question. VISOR answers notice questions. Oregon Offender Search covers sentenced state custody. BOP covers federal inmates from 1982 to the present. ICE ODLS covers immigration detention. The sheriff records webform covers copies and older material when the sheriff has the record and no exemption blocks release.

| Historical jail records or photos | Sheriff records request or sheriff records counter | Booking/Jail Records Reports, photo requests, and sheriff-held records. |
No verified Coos County Sheriff's Office mobile app was found for jail roster, warrant, most-wanted, or records-request functions. Do not rely on a generic sheriff app listing unless the county itself identifies it as an official Coos County tool.
Coos County Jail Visitation Records
Visitation rules belong to the jail, not to the roster vendor. The county states that adults in custody may have one half-hour visit per week unless on disciplinary status. AIC is the Oregon term for adult in custody. The AIC must be incarcerated at least 72 hours before a first visit and must submit a written request to place a person on the visiting list. Visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance by calling 541-396-7861 during the scheduling window.
| Category | Rule or Schedule | Source Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Visit allowance | One half-hour visit per week unless on disciplinary status | Coos County Jail page |
| Visitor count | Maximum two visitors per visiting period | Coos County Jail page |
| First visit wait | AIC must be incarcerated at least 72 hours | Coos County Jail page |
| Approval | AIC must request the visitor in writing | Coos County Jail page |
| Scheduling | Call 541-396-7861 at least 24 hours ahead, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. | Coos County Jail page |
| Male visitation | Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. | Coos County Jail page |
| Female visitation | Friday, 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. | Coos County Jail page |
Visitors must bring picture identification showing name and date of birth. Cellphones, purses, unauthorized property, food, beverages, weapons, ammunition, knives, alcohol, narcotics, dangerous drugs, and other security-risk items are barred. Clothing must be conventional and must not resemble jail uniforms. Minors must be with a parent or approved adult visitor, and no articles may be exchanged with an AIC.
Coos County Jail Mail Funds
No official Coos County jail mail-rules page, commissary vendor, phone vendor, tablet vendor, or deposit-fee table was located in the county jail materials reviewed for this build. That gap matters. Oregon DOC mail, money, and phone vendors are prison rules for state custody and should not be copied onto a county jail record page as if they govern the Coos County Jail.
Confirm the current inmate mail address, allowed items, phone options, and money-deposit method with the jail at 541-396-7850 before mailing anything or sending funds. Attorney or professional visits are usually handled separately from social visiting, but no separate Coos County attorney-visitation rule was located on the public jail page. Clergy access appears in the jail menu through a Clergy Visit Application, but the form details were not part of the captured research.
Note: Check current custody with the jail before sending mail, planning a visit, or trying to fund an account.
